Home: I knew I wanted an open space, amazing kitchen, hardwood floors and lots of light, walking distance to groceries, coffee shops, etc. I knew it was a test because he was in a relationship with someone and emotionally cheating on her, and I knew I deserved more! Five months later, my human came along!
VERY shortly after that, I met an amazing expander in every way possible with the exception of being emotionally available/ he was WAY older than I wanted. Love: Around December, when I started doing the work, I realized that I wanted a man who was very much on the same page as me. I now work as a principal investor/head of growth at a remote seed-stage fund focused on building & investing in consumer brands! They met me where I wanted to be, and I started my job three days later. Then in February, my current employer lowballed me, and I let them know I couldn't take a job for less than my desired salary. After discussing salary expectations & budgets, I turned those jobs down. Between the time I actually started & received an offer from him, I had a ton of high profile job offers from the Director of Marketing / Planning at WME / Endeavor (huge agency) to a growth Equity Role at a San Francisco fund to a higher role at Moda Operandi. The fund still wasn't built & A LOT was in the works for him, so he let me know he was very interested in my work, but it would take a little bit of time for me to start. What tests did you face? Which did you pass? Not pass?: Work: I met my current employer a week after I was let go from my job in early November 2019. I thought I would never find a partner because all the men I met before walked all over me and never treated me with the respect I deserved.
I went to a mid-tier public college and got a degree in sociology. I thought I wasn't smart enough to get a huge job as a VC because I didn't go to an ivy league school or get an MBA. In money, I sacrificed myself for a job that paid me little to nothing and a manager that grossly disrespected and mistreated me daily while I was doing incredibly good work because I believed in the company's ultimate mission. In love, I was a doormat in every sense and settled for men who treated me poorly, who never wanted to settle, and who never gave me what I knew I deserved. I did every single DRE, and I found that I had inherent unworthiness around not being good enough, smart enough, or hard-working enough.
I started with Unblocked Shadow and Unblocked Inner Child and did those together then I worked through every single workshop from Unblocked Love to Unblocked Money.
What workshops did you use and what blocks did you discover during the DIs & workshops?: All of them. Get out of debt - took me about a year (a LOT of unworthiness about wealth here A small sweet dog from a shelter - took one month to manifest An apartment in LA or NYC - lots of natural light, hardwood floors - took two months to manifest (even though I'm a non-specific manifestor, I wanted gold hardware and all marble and the place I found Six-figure salary in venture capital as an investor working from home - took me three months to manifest A kind, understanding partner with a sense of humor who understands me and is completely devoted to me - once I decided what I wanted, it took me five months to manifest.
